Is it possible to get Gandhi into power in Hearts of iron iv?

im not sure not really palyed the raj yet (i used them to do a funny op glitch). Ghandi was alive during WW2 but he saw taht it was best to try and gain inderperndance after the war when Britain was not fighting than potenially starting a civil war in India. try going democratic and see

I don't think you can.. Also Lukkyb look for Quit India movement that started in 1942, Gandhi was not waiting for ww2 to come to an end.

Gandhi is not a leader in HoI 4, and democratic India is run by B. P. Sitaramayya.

Without mods, sorry :/, though the Kaisserreich mod puts Gandhi in power for the alternate history agrarian-socialist India.
