Did the new update for radeon graphics card drivers fix the ''stuck on updating history'' problem ?
I don't have HOI4 on this account in case you are wondering, my friend is lending me his account on the condition that I only use it to play games. :steamhappy:

What AMD cards have this problem? I have never been stuck on Fiji (GCN 1.3).

mainly the 300 series I believe. Not sure about 200 series.

Everyone. If you happen to have an amd gpu, the company just released a new driver today that fixes the issue...go download it right now!

Sorry. New driver sadly doesn't fix the issue :( though it said it did.

try this to fix your game
1. Go to the steam library.
2. Click right mouse button on "Hearts of iron 4" and chose propereties.
3. In the first tab click on Launch options and write: -opengl
4. Then close it and launch game.
This should fix the issue it worked for me

I hear doing this doesnt allow achievement unlocks, any truth to it?
