Napoleonic World | Redux
Millennium Dawn: Modern Day Mod
Realistic Nukes
if any of this helps
i have no crash reports
and i have the same issues as you do.
I'm currently reinstalling the game on a different drive to see if i had not a crammed drive issue or something.
Will test tonight on millenium dawn and will post in detail if i happen to be lucky.
my first guess was i had a RAM issue or more specifically not enough space on my drive when my RAM was fully mobilized, but that's not it.
our specs are well over the recommended specs, though mods can make requirements way higher.
but I'm clueless as most guys that play on an older computer with lower specs do not have this issue with mods.
maybe it's a coincidence that we have similar problems while having similar rigs, maybe it's an issue with one of our components.
no conclusion except it does crash and a reinstall on a near empty huge drive doesn't solve it.
Have you tried running without mods?
Are your drivers updated?
Is your CPU overheating? The game is very CPU intensive, so if you're using stock Intel fan and you haven't cleaned it recently it could very well be an overheating issue.
34°C and the most it goes to is 40 when i play with mods right befor it crashes
BUT.
I've been curious and have found simple mods that work perfectly and make vanilla funner, basically you can recreate millenium without the crashes.
you just don't get to play with the modern era toys but the royal rumble/multiple faction/game continues after WW2 thing is real.
considering I've had 7 simultaneous wars(some very wacky with bugs in them) and none have crashed though the whole planet is spamming divisions, i now consider that my pc is not responsible for the crashes, its something in the way the major mods work(optimisation or else)
thought i'd mention it.
if you are interested, i could link the mods.
If you're only crashig with the Millenium Dawn mod it's probably a bug there causing it.
