HOI4 crashing constantly.

Every time I play a game of hoi4, it crashes around Spring 1936.
Yes, I have verified game files.
Clean reinstall,
Cleared user directory.
EVERYTHING. What do I do?

What do you mean by a "clean reinstall"? Do you use any mods?

Then your problem is most likely caused by those mods.

Assuming you deleted the HoI4 files in the Steam directory and in Documents/Paradox Interactive/Hearts of Iron IV after you deinstalled the game in Steam and before you reinstalled it you (almost definitely) won't have that problem if you start a new campaign without any mods.

I can confirm what Lukas said. Patches will often break mods, and they need to be fixed to the changes of the patch. Likely one of your Mods is out of date, OR there is a new conflict with the mods because of how they updated to the new patch.
You can do things like, try vanilla, and then add mods back one at a time until you crash. Then try JUST that mod. If the mods works on it's own, but not togther you know their is a conflict, if it crashes on it's own then it alone needs to be fixed.

My game crashes all the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ time no matter what ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mods I use. I've tested every damn mod I have subscribed and are up to date tho with just your specific fault its Black ice always crashes 1936 spring. But for me it crashes every damn ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ time I try to use up to date mods and just after 5-10 minutes game just ♥♥♥♥♥ up goes black screen and then I see my desktop but says in top corner hearts of iorn IV and my mice is still the one in hoi4... Annoying as hell as I now cant enjoy the game. Online doesnt work anymore...

So you have done exactly what it says there, then you started the game without mods, started a new campaign and it still crashes? If so please ask Paradox' support[www.paradoxplaza.com] for help; preferably by using their forum.

Paradox is ACYIVELY making their own products have bad reactions to mods in the first place.

Heres an Idea: Why dont they just go on public record and ASK us to just stop if it bothers them so much?
