How do you conquer the United States?
Title really. I am playing as Germany and have sucessfully anschlussed das UK, France, And der Polen, ending the war in Europe. In Axis with Italy, whom have somehow proven even more useless than their real life counterparts. I plan to add all the east europoorean countries into mien glorious reich as well, and maybe even the Bolshevisks later.

Thing is, America decided to poke their nose where it does not belong, and i'm worried they might bring this to war. I can't hold a front versus the Soviet union and the United States, so if they do it'll be trouble. The conquering of the UK also came at the cost of pretty much the entire Kriegsmarine, and most of mien Unterseeboots as well, so I can't best them at sea on offense or defense.

What should I do? I do not wish for a war, but if it comes to that, how should I deal with it?

And in the longer term, how can I put an end to those capitalist pigs? If they attack first mien territories in the west will fall, and I cannot use them to invade anymore. The major cities are also on opposite coasts, meaning I will probably have to march across America (because the ♥♥♥♥ are even listed as "the italy of the east" in the German focus tree) or somehow launch yet another invasion from Hong Kong or Singapore.

well unless you have a huge navy and tons of transport ships, you are out of luck.

Usually when I stage a naval invasion on North America I take Iceland and Greenland for Naval bases and air bases if I can for the Invasion. Then I march my soldiers down south from Canada into America.

Also "Mein" not "Mien" and pretty sure "und der Polen" would just be "und Polen".

Anyways, have fun conquering the whole world.

EDIT: Also mass produce convoys.

Just land troops at that piece of land in canada uk holds and build up infrastructure and naval base for supply then storm the us trough canada

Without a local base, the USA will have trouble invading you too as they probably won't be able to protect transports across the whole Atlantic. That said, if the war against the UK and France is over you should have annexed all their holdings in America, so you should be able to base your army in America and then attack Canada or the South American nations to get to the USA.

Okay things I try to do.. If I take and capture Netherlands early before the war begins you annex some limiting land in South America, it is limiting right until the war starts.. have some troops here so you can be ready.

First you capture the British and French lands adjacent to yours then, you might make an early ally with Brazil or Venezuala but this is inconsequential. Use superior air and capture the little islands in the caribbean.. invade Cuba, Take Cuba.. and then you can begin your invasion through Florida.

This is how I've managed to beat the US. You won't be able to make relevent strides until you've pretty much finished with Europe and Afirca, hopefully China/Japans war will be done so everything you have you can focus towards this invasion.

If you are savvy early on in your campaign you will only build Naval Dockyards on your coastal regions in europe, this will come in handy now. Build the heck out of submarines. I generally run about 4 Submarine production lines at full, supported with effective air, you can secure the caribbean sea.... I thought to maybe invade through Mexico first.. as the US is a harder enemy.

How to invade the USA was already told by the people before me but for your next game as Germany: Why invade USA if you can easily have them in the Axis. Start influencing them at the start of a 1936 game and they will turn almost for sure facist. If you are lucky there will be a civil war in the US. In that case send armored divisions to your favorite and win the war for them.
Or do what i currently am doing: Stay down as Germany, don't invite any nation to the Axis and let the Comintern and Allies weaken each other. If you don't create much world tension (only small wars in the early game - for example puppeting the Netherlands and Dutch East Indies as soon as possible - great for securing oil and rubber resources), neither England nor USA will be able to do any harm to Germany. And fighting only defensive wars - if the SU for example attacks Germany - will also prevent the Allies from attacking you^^. With the latest DLC puppeting is much better than annexing countries. Send outdated equipment to lower their status to integrated puppet and you'll get everything they have without creating much world tension.

If you are playing fascist or communist investing in flipping USA ideology from day one can eventually put them in your faction or at least keep them from interfering in your plans. It takes a long time because of their resistance to ideology drift so you need to start early.

Conquering the USA when you have control of most of Europe and Asia should not be a problem though. If you left some piece of UK, the Commonwelth, and France in existence as puppets you will get whatever is left of their navies to patrol the entire world. Then focus your own navy on supporting your invasion of North America - even some subs should be enough.Once you have a foot hold with a port you can send troops directly there by normal transport without waiting for preparing an invasion. Send an army at a time and expand.

If you did not leave any puppets and annexed everything it will be tougher and you will need to build up some navy and accept some additional risk in the crossing.

In your position I would attack the Soviet Union and finish them off first while rebuilding my navy. But it is up to you.
