How do you remove the Ahead of Time penalty?
I've noticed that sometimes it gets a -100% reduction but I still don't know what causes it. I want to know so I can actually actively go for it.

Source: I have T-44 divisions in 1939.

Ahead of time penalty means... Well. You're ahead of time. If you research something from 1942 in 1939, you will receive an ahead of time penalty. If you research something from 1939 in 1938, you will receive less of a penalty for the smaller timeframe, but it will still be there.

I have T-44 divisions in 1939 because something gave me a -100% time penalty reduction which reduced the tank to 100 days. I want to know what it was so I can use it again.

I believe the reduction comes from the Soviet-German research agreement. It's triggered by a German National Focus, and pops up as a Soviet Event which you have to accept.

That was my exact guess. Thanks.
