Can't make peace demands-Fixed

So I'm playing as Japan currently, just beaten China fairly decisively and they have capitulate, but, I can't make any demands. It tells me that both nations invloved are untouched by war members and no demands can be made against them when I hold 90% of China. I don't see why I cannot take anything from China as China is generally the first target for Japan. Any help would be appreciated whether it's a bug or I'm doing something wrong.


Edit- I found out it was a mod issue, if you are having problems the cause is probably DiDay's common units mod.

Im not sure what happent to you but it is really typically either you lack political points and need to skip some turns to pick areas. But i sense this IDIOTIC peace conference happend something like this.

1 You are member of some faction and you called them to join in war or they automaticly joined some reason. Like some reason wars merged and enemy lost war. These things happens a lot and i hate it as it gives power to steal land near you conquest. Even more if your leading member of faction.
2 Then came peace conference and AI picks to puppet your taken areas even thought they werent physically in your region. Also took all that land what you wasted lot of resourses to gain. when they were in other side of map.

Because this above happend to me when i invaded japan as china and allies war and communist one joined with my war as same by simply me fighting one axis members. When axis fell they had their turn and stole all land from my conquest as chine. Korea, japan, north area of korea. I could not pick anything what i could even defend like why pick areas on Europe as its not really stradegy wise area to hold.

Other is that you picked some Focus what had this result from war. Meybe you took conquesr cost of chine or puppet one. Where china becomes your puppet in your faction. I recall there was this type of possibility when i played as japan. Where you did not join axis and become faction when you become super strong all factions will join you somereason.

Personally they should redesing entire politic system aswell make restrictions on peace conference as it is simply to messy as peolple in faction can steal your claims or areas where they werent involved at all. Either by having first turn or simply you lacking points to secure all region you have.

Like Allies did not demand soviet union to give berlin and all other areas what were under iron curtain to be free after ww2. Aswell soviet union could not demand to take france and rest of germany from allies.

The problem I have is I can't actually demand anything from the peace deal, no other countries want anything so I have spammed pass and accumulated over 4000 score but I still can't do anything. Again it also says China is untouched by any of the winners, no demands can be made against them meaning I can't even get anything.
