This happened to me too.
Same.
Same.
I dont agree with:
1. justifying with PP against Portugal as it's much safer (no risk of guaranteeing) to just pick focuses to liberate their and Belgian colonies.
2. Releasing former colonies as puppets as they follow you to war (correct me if i'm wrong). It's better to release them as faction member and just never call them to war as after you have liberated Kenya (and rest already), the allies have to naval invade you and ofc thats not going to work.
I managed to liberate Kongo, Angola and Mozambique + annex Portugal before Belgium joined the allies (80% tension). i also naval invaded Ireland with 20 (20width) paratrooper divisions who the dropped to glasgow area.
I tried a different approach:
- Change to communist.
- Justify on Spain asap.
- Break free (but NOT leave faction).
- Send troops to Gibraltar.
- Declare war on Spain.
- Attack Spain or wait Spain being attacked by allys and win the war (no later 39-40).
- Justify on Ireland.
- Annex North of Spain.
- Declare war on Ireland.
- Annex Ireland (no later 41).
- Leave allys.
- Through focus declare war on UK.
- Invade Cardiff (UK) from Ireland.
- Simultaneously attack british colonies on Africa.
- UK capitulates (no later 42-43).
- Through focus declare war on Portugal.
- Attack Portugal from Spain.
- Simultaneously attack portuguese colonies on Africa.
- Portugal capitulates (no later 43).
- Conitnue with belgium colonies.
- Wait for events to liberate countries (a month or so)
- Achievement done.
Nice job! This seems like the most efficient way to complete the achivement. How did you justify against Ireland when still in allies (country has to cause world tension and as part of allies you are tied to democracy's rules)?
Well, being communist I could do it without trouble. You can be in allys and declare war on democratic country if you are communist or fascist. (Also note WT due to previous war against Spain and other factors).

Also, this part:
- Leave allys.
Can be done just before declaring war on UK. You will get intel on UK & France Army, Navy, Air Force, their deployment and movements up to the last second before declaring war. Having your naval invasion plan, fleet and troops ready to be triggered just in the same second the war is declared you can minimize all the risks. Simple and effective. Just watching their forces and waiting for the precise instant to activate the entire process.
Dosn't work for me, how did you get to justify on lreland?
You must be free, not puppet.
Wich is your WT?
Doesn't the Anti Colonialist Crusade focus remove you from the Allies? Then it's 140 more days to get the Liberate British Colonies focus, so you won't be able to see British troops in that period. Or are you assuming that the troops stay roughly where they are?
