Game wont let me open research tab

when i try open the tab it just instantly closes, any ideas?

Not really. Maybe you use some mod that interferes?

nope even when i use no mods it wont let me open it :/

Does it only happen if you use the mouse to open the research tab or even if you use the keyboard hotkey (w) to open it?

its not that i cant open the research tab with the slots on it, its when i click on one of the slots it wont let me open it

Weird. Do you play with version 1.3.3?

Do you have that problem when starting a new campaign (instead of loading a savegame) without mods as well?

yes and it does work but tbh who plays without mods? the base game near garbage :/

I've updated my previous post after I noticed that I already asked you that question.

I for one like vanilla HoI4. I'm not saying that mods are bad or anything like that, but they (can) cause a lot of problems (especially short after the release of a new version of the base game).

Found a way to fix the problem!
Open the console and write "reloadtechnologies"

Nothing is ever truly 'fixed' in a Paradox game. Just got the same problem and you are a lifesaver man. I thought I was going to be stuck tinkering with it all night and here you solved it instantly. Congrats on being a top google result by the way.

This didn't work for me. Im in a mod and when I click on a technology slot it won't open. Ive tried the command and it says its reloaded the database, but it still won't work
