YOu cant grant autonomy by yourself, (unless your pupett gather autonomy points same way as player do - like give your resources or lend lease weapons)

But there is somehow better way - jsut lend lease puppet your weapon production and it will use it for build armies (with their manpower!) - thats actually best you can do.

Brah. That will decrease their autonomy. And they have to have a certain number of autonomy already for you to increase their autonomy.

Idd. But thats the point of puppet - what else point you ahve than let them build strong army for you? And this way is best - they will never be so strong by themselves than with equipment from you. And if they will be able to raise their autonomy (like Big puppet giving you lot of resources) you will lose that puppett in time completely (so there is question why puppett someone in first place if u plan this).

The point, is i want someone under my control, but i dont have to deal with. I would puppet someone, raise them to a colony so the penalties arent that bad, declare war on their neighbours and let them go ham. Besides, the only point of puppeting someone is not having to deal with them directly. If you want total control, should've just annexed. And anyways, what's the fun in having no one to fight?

Well the main reason why pupett in HoI4 is manpower. If you annex you ahve 98% penalty for non-core provinces, but puppett can use all their manpower.

Import resources from them, and request lend-lease from them both give autonomy.
