Axis & Allies vs. Comintern

Is this possible & if so, what strategy should I adopt to achieve this? Preferrably no one changes their governments.

you cant really make alliances between the factions, the factions are the alliances. the best you can do is have both fight the same enemy and have a non agression pact with the other. i have no clue how you would make this happen because on ahistorical each game can be so very different. as the uk you can reassert eastern claims leading to war with the soviet union, if you let germeny be they MAY attack the russians, or they may not. as germany you can take the anti communist pact and the anti soviet pact. my best bet would be as germeny to avoid angering the allies but there is no garentee they will help you or not attack you. its really meant to be the three factions not knowing whos going to go where, even historicaly the comintern and allies only helped each other because after the fall of france the axis had such an economy base and experienced army the comintern was in danger of losing with their crippled leadership and the allies had no real continental army. its this remaining tension between them that lead to the cold war. in game there are other ways to counter this, the allies can look to india or spain (hell france might live its happend in my current game) and the comintern can fight small early wars to fix many of its problems (at the cost of world tension because they were the threat everyone thought was going to happen at the time alongside the global communist movment)

I know how to do this. When the world tension is super high start justifying against Afghanistan, Iran, or Iraq so the allies garuntee them. Then when the soviet ai declares war on one of those nations the allies attack
