Lagging behind
When Im playing with my friend we never get lagging behind (On speed 4) but when we try to play 3 guys together we get lagging behind on speed 2. Any solutions??

But I am the one who is getting lagging behind, is it cause of me or the third guy?

I'd put my money on the third guy not having very good internet.

Check your CPU and Internet usage. Game only utilize a single core and build on dated engine once again.

No, that's not true, it's able to utilize several cores.

@OP: If you currently use WiFi try a cable connection if possible.

General guidelines for MP stability:

- make sure all players have opened the required Steam ports in all their active firewalls (each player may have up to 3)

Here's a few thing that I suggest you and your 2 other friends to do.
1. Move near the router, the closer the better
2.Ask your friends to close every single tab or windows that they've open(except for HOI IV itself)
3.Use an ethernet cord, if you and your friends have one then beg them to use it
4. Upgrade your speeds, if you're rich or have money then I beg you to upgrade your speed.
