How to decrease consumer goods, USA?

Playing as USA how can I decrease % of factories allocated to producing consumer goods????

Just go through national focuses, no other way, really. Unless you turn fascist/communist, go to war with Mexico or any country and then set your War Economy.

Change your economic law at the first opportunity or work your way through national focus tree as world tension rises.

Remove "the Great Depression" national spirit in your focus tree.

blitz preemptive strike focus then switch to partial mobilization or war economy if WT is high enough

I'd suggest increasing economy laws, but not total mobilization, because it will lower your manpower, also you can try some focus the USA has that decrease consumer goods factories, also, I'm not really an expert in HoI4 but I think there may be some bad things in lowering consumer goods factories.

This happens with time and use of the focus tree. It is a part of the game and I love it. It fits USA situation well.
