Major problem with playing on laptop
I just installed HOI IV on my new laptop, seems to run fine. But why on earth are there no effective zooming hotkeys. I tried the Pg Up and Down thats integrated into the laptop's numpad, but they dont work. My trackpad has a scrolling function, but it is very ambiguous as to how it works.

Any advice, it seems stupid to me to not have zooming hotkeys that would be avalible to all setups.

buy a mouse, track pads are for people worse than plebs.

I have a mouse i can use, but its not very effective when my laptop is sitting on, well, my lap. It just seems like a stupid thing to leave out keys for zooming.

You can ignore the muppet above, there is no need to use a mouse to play the game. Just use what ever gesture you use for the scroll wheel; depending on the software and version of windows you have installed you may be able to change it to whatever you like.

that is true, except i cannot for the life of me figure out how to scroll on this trackpad. It was so much easier on my previous laptop (which wasnt good enough to run HOI IV), just run you finger along the right side of the pad. WIth this one, i can scroll briefly, but repeatedly cannot replicate the results.

I wont be getting a new laptop, i just got this one back from the manufacturor as it previously had a defective motherboard and stopped working within an hour of first firing up.

yeah way to go genius you called me a muppet and told the guy that the solution to his problem was his problem. I mean yeah that always solves peoples problem like if you see someone's car break down your advice to them is to drive that broken down car to a mechanic.

I use my laptop on my lap all the time. I use s mouse though with a track wheel in the middle for zooming (hell of a lot easier) I sit on my couch and the mouse works fine on most fabrics.
