Am i the only one who feels like the CAF is a bit overtuned?I mean all of them have some kind of optic, generally good vehicles, both the LAT and HAT have more missiles than every other army.What do you think?

The problem probably stems from that fact that the C7A2 and C8A3 are full-auto capable weapons. Both of which (I think) are based off the M16A3. Another issue is it started off as a mod so balance is going to be a bit off. When OWI calls the shots they know exactly how something should be balanced in theory. It may just take some time for things to be more balanced but I do agree that the Canadians can be a bit overpowered.

Both are offspring from a rifle design over 50 years old. Is it technically correct to refer a C7A2 as an M16A3? No, but nor is calling a marksman a sniper but people do it all the time. I would say that the latter is more grossly in error.

I feel they trade a lot of stuff as well (only light transports and LAVs/MBT), also as much as I love the elcan I feel the lack of iron sight options is kind of a pain, hope they get them as an option, digging the EOtech as well, I feel they have a lot of pros and a lot of cons as well

then again the amount of optics are pretty similar to the US/RUS and CAF doesn't get vics like MRAPs and Strykers for moving infantry around. Even though CAF gets full auto on scopes, full auto on anything other than MG is quite the way to get killed past 25-50m range. There is a bolt action, but 90% of the player base can rarely be more effective with it than some rifleman who found a good spot 1 time that round. The HAT is also slightly inferior to the US having no scope (I think?). The LAV25 is good but doesn't have a TOW so a BMP or bradley could easily take it out. Its kind of wack, but its good enough for gameplay right now

But that camo they have is a headache to deal with on certain maps

The CAF team is still very much tweaking and working on improvements, so you're, not wrong about tuning. =)

We're also working with them to find the best way to assist with things like QA and deployments, so there's some good learning going on as we continue to collaborate.

agreed, manic is visually everywhere the same - i do kind of like that vehicles are restricted to roads, but that also makes vehicle combat a bit stale (brawling it out front to front mostly).

The map simply has no visual diversity, regardless where you are on the map, it all looks identical.

Not to mention it's hideous and way too big

Dislike the maps they are significantly in favour of canadian forces. It sucks and makes for a boring predictable match that usually results in the other team getting slaughtered over the first cap for 300 tickets.

Dislike that there is a bolt action "sniper" rifle when the development of every other faction was made to exclude such a feature. Squad over lone-beo-wolfing...?

Also, why is their camo so OP?

Also, why is it impossible for a scout car to kill the canadian lav even if pumping all shots into the back of the vehicle? Got to enjoy chasing one while my gunner poured 4 magazines into the things jackhole with no result.
