I have the exact same drivers and a 3090 as well and the game is unplayable for me. Would you mind listing the rest of your specs?

Edit: I decided to try the hotfix. It appears to work. No crash in 2.5 hours of playtime. Not sure if it fixed the issue entirely or not but at the very least it doesn't crash every 10-15 mins now.

Edit 2: thanks ragnar. huh, it seems the only difference is I have a amd 5900x with asus crosshair viii. everything else was the same. I wonder if the cpu makes a difference on the frequency of crashes.

Have an EVGA 3070 FTW3 and this hotfix driver causes bad ♥♥♥♥ whine from the card in X4, reverting to 461.40 eliminates the noise. (Non-Express, Clean install both ways)

GTX 1060 just only 461.92,and still have this problem

An update since posting last that I have now added about 15 - 20 hours game play since the hotfix and still no crashes at all. I was getting crashes randomly before the hotfix, example for every 5 times I played it crashed about 3 of those times regardless of time played. I am on a Gigabyte 3080, no bad effects on card, fps still the same on X4 and all other games iv'e tried.

I have been running with the new driver for quite a few hours now and I can say that for my RTX3070 the problem seems to have been resolved. Before the patch I was consistently crashing every 20-30 minutes. With the patch I have not crashed once in well over 15 hours of play. Thank you to all involved in the fix, I was getting seriously disheartened and having to put the game down due to the frequency of the crash. Now I can play without worry :)
