Hotfix not working. Still getting crashes with 3070

Awsome... the fix makes the game unplayable for me, it crashes instantly...

Iv noticed that the longer you linger on the main menu before launching the game the higher chance you are of getting this crash, launch the game right as you hit the menu and you're usually good

no more crashes since update BUT
my NZXT tool reads temperaturs way beyond 700°C now - reportet it already - just dont get confused
also my geforce Xperience says my drivers are old now lol

For all those who still crash (a lot) with the hotfix, I went back to use the December 2020 driver, at least my game became a lot more stable.
Just in case it helps someone.

i rolled back to the most recent public Nvidia driver and the game still gets the crash but i sometimes get lucky and am able to play without it ever crashing

Ok it's fine Hot Fix, but there is no update for the Pilote Geforce Game Ready, always in 461.92,

I am still occasionally getting crashes (have a 3080) but its less frequent. E.g. I literally just started my game, went to make a coffee, and came back with the game stopped and the JIRA bug ticket page on my browser!

I spoke to soon, it literally just crashed again when on the menu screen... :( I played for about 6 hours yesterday with no crashes so its fairly random...

The hotfix driver did not work for me. Ingame my screen would continously flash to black every few seconds. On and off. I rolled back to 461.91 and have no isses running that version with my setup.
R7 3700x and RTX3060TI

It's the small things in life that makes you happy. These issues is a consolation to me for not being able to buy a 3xxx card.

We've had one user report that it didn't work but it turned out the driver actually didn't install correctly.
So if you're running into issues please verify with vulkaninfo that the version is listed as 462.07.
Uninstalling the previous driver, then reinstalling the hotfix seems to have fixed the issue for the user.

I notice that the link only lists drivers 462.07 for Windows only. Is this problem only on Windows 10? Or does it affect Linux as well?
