Option for satellite to alert if it detects based units of a particular criteria.
Currently satellites give information on what ships are in their range, but as far as I can tell the only way to actually see it is when looking at the map. It would be nice if they could be configured to alert the player when they spot something that meets a particular criteria. criteria could include faction, hostility, ship size and party size. For example a player might configure a sat to warn if a hostile of at least L size OR 5+ smaller hostile ships are detected at once, while another might be setup to detect if a courier/trader/miner type vessel passes buy. When it detects something it would send the player an alert with something like "Satellite in Getsu Fune detected Xenon K (1)+P(2)+10 other"

You can already steup customized alerts via your empire settings.

If your assets see things that match your settings you will be informed.

Going by your own example you would need to tell your alert that you want to be informed when ever a Xenon XL is in range of your satellites in getsu fune.

As a bonus you can than add if you are also interesdted in other ship sizes, if you want to be notified about all, civil or combat ships, etc, etc.

As said, you can create, modify, enable/disable your custom alerts via your empire wide settings.

Thanks. Didn't realize this was already in. Not surprised there's stuff I've yet to work out in the interface yet though given how big it is.

I use alerts a lot for Xenon K and I's that break in. Most stations and such can handle smaller stuff. a Xenon Frigate would be interesting. Or if they used missiles like ever.
