keyboard / Mouse controls ... become unresponsive ( + sorry mission)

So, I get alot of my mouse wheel not responding ... that is not so bad just use Z/X (however wheel would be better) .. .
but now my Backspace keeps seems to apply -10 speed. It does not set it to zero .. like if i am at 2 ..and hit it .. it goes to -8 , hit it again -18 again -28 ect ect

also Shift space bar no longer works ... have save/loads , restarted game and computer.

Also the first mission you get from scanning ( think its main story, because it was working on another save) .. gets stuck .. Last thing i am told is .. I will upload mission to you ships computer..
The video of the boron stays open .. but their is no new info ..also no options (1,2,3) to press ... and game becomes stuck sometimes ... have restarted a few times now...

Do you have any other hardware connected to the pc like gamepads or steering wheels? Maybe if you do try unplugging them and see if it helps.

Maybe go to controls menu reset settings if you can or if not load a gamepad profile and reload profile for keyboard and mouse.

Only thing i have other then M/K is track ir . I will unplug it and see if that helps.

I just bought this game today and it is happening to me constantly. I have nothing else plugged up.

Every time I accept a mission, my keyboard becomes completely unresponsive but my mouse still works. It is making it impossible to play the game.

I have the exact same issue. After some gameplay my spacebar and mousewheel stop working. I only have a mouse (logitech g502) and keyboard (CM Storm Quickfire TK) plugged in at this time.

same here got the same problem, if i press esc than get out of the menu it fix itself but after some time i have to do it again

Same with the same fix of going to the escape menu. Using Bluetooth mouse and keyboard (each on a different dongle).
