Covert Operations

Disclaimer: This is the first time I'm using the Spoiler Discussion Forum, so I apologize in advance if I do anything wrong... I'm Strongly Against People (including Myself) Spoiling Game Stuff for others (Including Myself (grin)). :)

Anyways... I just need to Vent... or perhaps learn more about what may be to come. But I have to say I was a bit disappointed with the Terran Start. For the most part, the whole thing was Awesome!!! However, towards the middle I felt like I was on a completely new path, and no longer a part of the Terran Protectorate. However, since I was formally told to go Deep UnderCover by Delilah... I just 'HeadCanonned' that aspect, and went with the theory she didn't want to blow my cover; so she treated me like a complete outsider... Nothing more than a Hired Gun.

However... I've just completed the Covert Operations: Final Briefing (and received an Achievement). So I believe this whole Story Line is Complete. And I'm still being left to feel like an outsider, instead of someone who just helped his Faction gain the upper hand against Possible Enemies. I understand I can't actually be acknowledged for my actions; but shouldn't I, at the very least, get a promotion, and re-assigned to another operation: even if it's just, Maintain Your Cover, and Monitor the Outlying Factions. But instead; I get paid... thanked for my services... and sent on my way.

Well... that's my vent. Not completely disappointed, as I so enjoyed the entire plot; but I just wanted a different ending; Something that makes me feel that I am a Terran, and not just some Lone Gun, for an UnKnown Faction, looking to make a few bucks.

In any case: As stated I just completed Covert Operations: Final Debriefing; so if there is more to come... Just tell me to be patient; Otherwise... Love to Hear other thoughts and comments... and even HeadCannons :).

There's currently not more to come, but future DLC may change that.

Or maybe there's an assassin waiting to <ahem> tie up the loose ends when you next go to sleep. If that ever happens. ;)

That would be cool... I do like the way they tied in the PHQ & the whole Dal thing into the Terran Start; So Yeah... Crossed Fingers!!!

what ever outcome you have choosen is the final outcome.

Dal should have informed you about what happens when you decide to do A, B or C (etc.)
