Looking to start a new game and rush into boron story but wish to choose a non boron start.

Just wondering is there any way I can do a non boron start (like starting as terrain or vigor) and still trigger the HQ to spawn in heretics end without doing custom starts? Also how hard is it to trigger the boron storyline without starting with those initial boron dlc starts, do I need to unlock Dal Busta first?

Boron story is extremely easy to start with the other default starting scenarios. If you want it in Heretics End then you need to do any start other than the Cradle of Humanity starts. All you need to do is go to Heretics End to trigger it.

oh thats great to know, so just to confirm, as long as i dont trigger the HQ original quest by contacting Boso by the scan leak way, it will give me the HQ when triggering the boron story by going to Heretics End?

If you have KE installed, even if you try to contact Boso through the scan leak, it won't give you the old PHQ mission. As soon as KE is installed there is new dialogue and you have to go to Heretics End.

The only starts that are still the same and lead to the PHQ being in Grand Exchange are the Terran ones.
