Second assistant quest, need help

For the PIO faction, I am supposed to find nav beacons around a hazardous location. For the life of me I can't find the nav beacons. And the radiation eats my hull if I take my time investigating the area.

Am I missing something? The quest is in "the void"

Figured it out, you have to actually go full stupid, and get really close to navigation beacons and laser towers, that you are told to be careful around.

well.. a new problem with that same bloody quest. I need to "dock" on the ship that arrives. Only none of my ships can actually land on it, and using a space suit in a radioactive zone doesnt work well.

you have to set some nav beacons inside the radiation field first, after that you get a message that you can dock at the OWL, space suit is working now and if I remember right you have to repair the OWL before you can dock at it

Yeah figured it out, you need to get right ontop of the ship.. there is a really small safe spot from the radiation.
