Hyperion DLC Price Guesser
Since DLC is always a hot topic in recent times, i want to invite the X4 community to a little pastime activity.

Goal here is, to estimate the price for the Hyperion DLC on release in your own currency.

Since 1 number would be boring, i want to invite you to state a desired price and a real estimate, for how much you think will it cost on launch.

Let me begin with mine:

Desired Price: 3€ (+3€ for soundtrack)
Estimated Price: 8.99 € (+5.99€ for soundtrack) (it has to be something .99)

Let me see your guess!

The soundtrack is already selling for $10, which is not a good sign. I've never seen a soundtrack cost more than the product it's for. They might be really over valuing the music here and using that to prop up the lack of other content. I don't really value the region unless there is some unique mechanic to it, and I expect the "quest chain" is just a glorified "go here to get it."

Gotta remove the parenthesis. I fixed it in the original if you want. Yes, that is real... and yes, I'm sure someone has paid for it.

That game has a ship pack they sell for 48,000 USD.

Don't worry I believe you. Things like that are dangerous. Someone will go into debt and ruin their life over that crap. It's worse than gambling. At least in a casino you have a tiny chance of beating the house. A game like that there is no reward. At least not in my eyes.

I'll be staying away from that.

Star Citizen isn't even a game yet. People are treating it as some sort of investment platform to pretend to own real space ships at real space ship costs, hoping one day they can actually do something with them. It's basically adjacent to like a NFT scam.

more numbers are fine too, but usually 2 numbers are more realistically explainable

It's got £7.99 written all over it. Anymore and a bit of a surprise, but I'll still pay it. Always got spare cash for this game.

if you dont want pay the 9.99 for the "small DLC" ,
then wait for the 50% sale 4.99

and the DLC is not only a ship.
you get +1 starting char, a (short) story mission(s) and whatever...

for me this ship sounds more like a official cheat-DLC (cawse OP ship).
but you can have fun using cheats in a singleplayer game. i have no problem.

No you're right and I'm an idiot. If it costs me £7.99 then it's going to cost the EU and North America $9.99 at least. Sorry. I'm a bit dopey today.

im expecting 7.99, im willing to pay (and already put in my gog wallet) 25$ because its the hyperion, and the hyperion is my favorite ship of all time so im gonna own it no matter what
