Making a good VR game involves so much more than just enabling stereoscopic rendering.
XR VR showed how much effort it was to make a X VR game and it did not get simpler with X4 ;)
Wait. You have this and no link or how to do it? Seriously?
Show us some evidence because I sure as heck would like to run this in VR if it actually works.
Thankyou again. I'll see how it works out though a proper version by Egosoft will be best I think. Had the Cyberpunk 2077 of something like this and well it was not ideal. But it's good to see modders trying to make it happen. eventually modders WILL perfect it if Egosoft never bothers again.
Problem with it looking a little blurry and pixelated, it's nowhere near a native or UEVR title in terms of graphical clarity. If RebirthVR is a solid A-+A, then X4 with reshade would be a -C-D. This is maxing out the graphics and aliasing options on a 4090 with a Pimax Crystal.
3D works ok though, it certainly gives the VR vibes. Good enough, but any money for a native VR mod or the proverbial money sack toward EGO to implement VR.
By the way, to go slightly off topic, how do you find the Pimax Crystal?
It's monitor like quality with native VR, decent mods ,and UEVR stuff.
