Goodest way to find route to home.
I was teleported to other side of the universe and now i need to find my way home. It seems to take forever since autopilot cannot find route in unknown space. Is there any way to find route easily? I need to go to sol from that asteroid base.

When you open comm channels with nearly AI pilots, you can ask for directions to the nearest Wharf, Shipyard, Equipment Dock, Faction Representative, or next Sector. When you talk to Terran pilots, they will give you directions back to the Terran representative in Sol.

Of course, in early game, you may not find too many Terran pilots or even pilots who are willing to talk with you if your faction rep is less than -10. To solve the latter problem, I suggest clearing out criminal traffic around unfriendly stations to build your rep with their faction. After the stations allow you to dock, their pilots will give you directions. When combined with visually looking for jump gates in your cockpit, you should be able to work your way back to the Sol System.

Depends if you want to be spoiled or not. There's a map online which I won't link because it'll show literally all the map. But I'll tell you basic directions. Go south from the asteroid base to a jump gate. You'll go through, you'll see another jump gate super close and an accelerator. Go through that jumpgate. Head south, you'll see a highway you can put your ship on. Head west and look for the system Second Contact II Flashpoint. Then go west (it's the northwest jump gate, not the south one). You'll be in The Void. Then head north from there and you'll be in Getsu Fune, which is just next door to the Asteroid Belt.

Why do you -have to- go back anyway? Explore new sectors, find new friends.

Some pilots refuse to give directions for something like up to +5 rep, at least from my experience. Maybe even up to +10. After that, they seem to cooperate every time, but untill that point it's a dice roll, and can be frustrating if RNG hates you ;]

No one wants to be my friend. Not in games nor irl.
