yeah, i remember people complain on how OP the xenon were a couple of years back, now there are people complain how insignificant they are, which is true.
I had hoped egosoft would just place a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ slider you know? So people could make their games harder if they so wished. Now , i can't play this game without kuertee scripts , or Reemergence and buff that xenon to max settings.
They don't like to rock the boat with people's saves regarding threats or war. So dynamic relations without mods probably not be a thing without mods.
Thankfully I have my own way to use diplomacy - by editing my save file to dynamically adjust the relationships of various factions with each other, which makes the galaxy a lot more interesting. There's also a mod that lets you do this on the fly, which might be just what the OP is looking for.
