the update ruined my game
my PC has the following specs
AMD Ryzen 5 - 4600g processor.
Hex core processor.
Processor speed 3.7GHz with a burst speed of 4.2GHz.
16 GB RAM DDR4.
Graphics:
AMD Radeon Vega 7 with GDDR6.

so i had played for 26 hours before i updated due to steam auto update, game ran ok no problems and was enjoying the game and starting to get into it, but since the update its been a buggy mess, first issue i noticed, humans with no faces, just floating hair, eyes mouth and tongue, i tried checking my settings, changed them to bare minimum now i fly around and the entire system i'm moving to vanishes, no highway, nothing in my system, everything has just vanished without a trace, so i checked my settings not sure so i change to max then turn it back down to low and still nothing, deleted my save start fresh seems fine but only for a few minutes then things vanish once again.

Sinsce the update my game lags hard in small fights (3-6 xenon) Was running perfect before. I uninstalled, dont have the nerves for this inconsistant buggy mess.

ive checked my gpu drivers and verified the game files, i have checked the settings, when i go on the highway on a new save, it will run fine at first, but then when i travel back to them about 5 mins later entire map is blank.

Edit

well i've rolled back to 7.50 in my library, since it seems like the only way to solve the issue.

If playing the beta, (7.6), its still in development and those issues are to be expected and should be reported.
Right from the patch notes -

One of the key improvements in 7.60 is how the game handles GPU memory, to make it able to run better on lower-end systems such as the Steam Deck. The result is fewer cases where the game runs slowly or is unable to continue due to lack of GPU memory. A possible side effect for some people may be slightly slower loading of assets, such as ship parts or characters. If you run into this, you can try lowering Texture Quality to Medium or disabling Volumetric Fog in the graphics settings. These options have a fairly minor effect on the visuals of the game, but can free up a lot of GPU memory!

bare minimum means the absolute lowest settings low on everything low and off/none on everything that can be turned off

How much ram is allocated to the cpu video ram?

Getting graphical glitches on the map but if I move the map they go away. No shortage of vram or system resources. No glitches before patch.

It would have been better to seperate the steam deck version and the desktop version. Have some settings that switches what the update does if a user is using steam deck, but leave the original engine for PC players..

Apparently no. 7.6 just released. And if what OP is describing then this 7.6 isn't ready for publishing. Texture/Mesh not loading, yikes...
I have also grafic glitches with new hardware...

The game was lagging any time a fight would break up near asteroids/station. Performance was bad on launch and it's still bad now. Your best bet to play the game with stable FPS in late game is the new X3D CPUs. Don't let people fool you by saying their game runs stable 60 FPS, it does that in first sector when they spawn and stare into empty void. Late game it's just tragic.
I am running on Linux (openSUSE) with vkBasalt (ReShade implementation), and everything is working perfectly fine.
