25 fps on 4090

Bottom line: with X4, it's more about the CPU than the GPU, but you can change a few graphical settings to improve performance.

Does this imply that you were having good performance and now are not? I ask because that's my case. I went from 7.10 to the new beta (7.60+), and my performance has tanked. Maybe this is because it's a beta, but I've never had this problem with a beta before.

I stuck with 7.10 for awhile after 7.60 dropped because I really don't like the new flight model, but I eventually caved because of the new features promised later this year. But if I must give up both my beloved "old" flight model AND good performance, then I'm going back to 7.10.

Maybe post a save game where you are seeing 25 fps (Google drive is great for this), and folks can download it, try it out, and see what might be able to change to get better fps.
