Performance tanks while carried by a capital ship

Basically the title, never happened since the day i bought the game but now i decided to play again and bought timelines and the ship pack and i noticed when i attach to a capital ship to drag me the fps tanks to 20 or less and as soon as i go away the frames skyrockets even in huge battles, any way to fix this?
For istance in the timeline mission with the huge ass colony ships if i stay near it the frame goes to 3 and to 60+ when im not near it (to drag me) .

r7 5800x
32gb ram
32:9 5120x1440 res

Seems caused by the various AA or FSR, tried all of them and seems that FXAA fixed my problem
