Vague mission requirements
TER mission Matrix #9 beach head operations Deliver 1 destroyer, 2 frigates, 8 fighters.

I built 1 Behemoth, 2 Cerberus Sentinels, 8 Eclipse vanguards all high preset and delivered them and I only get credit for 3/11 ships and no hints as to what does not meet the requirements.

the mission should list loadout requirements as well as any special hulls you might need.

i won't exclude it but maybe you overlooked that you can scroll through the entire briefing screen?

You are absolutely correct the briefing should be specific but unless I have gone totally blind there are not enough details given to even guess what might be out of specification. I should add this is in BETA, I think v3 but not sure how to check.

Have you tried the faction's own destroyer, i.e. the Osaka? There should be a specific preset for the mission.

There's a whole other mission screen if you go further into it, it lists things specifically, like with station building missions it'll tell you how many turrets you have vs need. Just gotta keep clicking.

No as I do not own the blueprint for that ship. and not sure I can buy one yet still doing the rep grind.
Mission requirements for a specific ship or loadout need to be stated in plain (pick your preferred language)
Would be like me asking for 3 cards 1 red and 2 black, all face cards and then telling you the queen of diamonds doesn't meet the requirements when you turn them in.

Station is completed, and now I can not figure out what requirement has not been met to deliver the fleet as there are not enough details provided.

Issue was with "fighters" I ordered 8 Kukri and as soon as they arrived at the delivery location the mission advanced.
No where in the mission requirements does it specify TER fighters.

There is a difference between "Fighter" and "Heavy Fighter" in mission requirements. I've been caught with that before. They will not accept the Eclipse as it is a Heavy Fighter.

your're right.. these specs are very vague...

only reqirement.. all slots have to be filled.

on the other hand.. you took the mission from specifically terrans... the strange thing is they accepted non terran hulls.

I don't believe that it matters which race the ships come from unless the mission gives very specific loadouts where it specifies something like the 1x Colossus 1x Behemoth 3x Frigate and usually the Colossus and Behemoth require loadouts that are given to you at the Shipyard/Wharf.

Otherwise if it is listed like the OP gave, you just need to provide a Destroyer, a Frigate and 8 Fighters.

Ryno is correct.

If you order a ship, you will notice different classes next to the ship's name.
For example the HOP wharf: https://i.epvpimg.com/fjGLcab.png

Ares is a heavy fighter.
Perseus Sentinel is a fighter, NOT a heavy fighter.

So, it's actually pretty obvious ... if you know what you're looking for. But that's just one of many kinda "hidden" mechanics which you will learn after some time. :-)

Thank you to all for the assistance / education.
I usually don't do faction missions unless I need rep as I don't appreciate the bait and switch. This was advertised as a build mission before accepting it then it evolved into something I would have passed on if the mission was advertised honestly.

The Guild missions are good for getting Mod parts (and the only way to get some of the mod parts like Exceptional Engine or Weapon) and sometimes the miner ships. Some of them pay really well too so keep an eye open for the missions as you pass through sectors. The missions will change depending on where you are in the universe.

You can see if a construction mission is station building or fleet assembly (or both) by opening the mission briefing.
It still won't tell you what exactly you need to build until you accept, but you'll know if it's ships or a station at least.

It also tells you the rewards for the individual sub-steps that the summary omits.

Eclipse is a heavy fighter. If a mission asks for fighter, you have to deliver fighters, not heavy fighters.
