Save file location

Does anyone know where they are? I know where they are not, namely in the Documents\Egosoft\X4\{YourSteamID}\save folder, where {YourSteamID} is a number.
I don't have steam cloud enabled and I'm playing the game so they must be somewhere? Did they change it? All information I can find points to the directory listed above.

Edit:
I found it, or at least I found where it used to be: In the OneDrive version of my documents, which I removed from my computer because it was taking over. I guess MS doesn't like you looking after your own data. But I'm still glad to be rid of it.
