Anyone else is driven insane by the fact that Paranid large habitats house 999 workers instead of 1,000?

Then, it should be either 729 or 2,187 worker slots.

(Obsession with a particular number usually shows in everything being counted in powers of that number.)

well... 333, 666 and 999 can be divided by 3 and are multiples of 3 by them self... so... thats good enough for paranids.

you should be more upset that terran habitats are basically just half the space than argon habitats and.. on top of that.. are also luxurious compared to their other human bretheren.

That is a nuisance when designing stations...

If the Argon want nice things, then they should fix house and step up their game, not stoop down to envy. It's not like the Terrans have hijacked their government and imposed confiscatory taxes.

I don't think i've ever build Paranid or Terran habitats. The only notable racial difference afaik is that Argon pilots get free extra stars so i've never use any other ones.

The ones I know of are: Argon get extra stars in piloting, Paranid in engineering, Teladi in management and Split in boarding. Do Terrans and Borons get anything?

BTW, my op is motivated by station-building missions that I'm completing for HOP; I like to build them with the client's own type of modules and that damn number hurts my eyes.

These are the true holy paranid numbers. 999, 666, and 333 are posers which appear holy at the outset, but their blasphemies become apparent after multiple divisions by the holiest of numbers.

It is more fun, actually. 3 * 3 is 9, but there are 3 9s in 999. so number 3 manifests 3 times. Three by three repeated thrice. Holy-tri-dimensionality.
