no. it shows up as a mission while you are cruising around the galaxy.
can be added to an existing save.

Just cruise around the girl will pop up, its way easier than Xenon crisis(way less time exhausting)

Visit sector right of argon prime - hatikvah (in my language) - a few times and a quest will show up from a small ship. Follow this questline and get your hyperion and blueprints into your game.

No, the game integrates new sectors into existing saves. You'll see a mission fairy quickly.
