:steamthis: very smart to turn off the effects and use high textures + max distance
i think i will use your settings

atm i use low/medium effects with 50% effect distance
@TO

when does those FPS happen to your 4060, 8845H? explain more details about how it happens. what is the game or you doing at that time. was war on some sectors or such things? its important to know.

Heck.
I run lower settings on my 1080 than you do on a 1060, and I just about run out of VRAM.
I've got 8 gigs of VRAM on my 1080, and with textures on medium, and almost everything turned entirely off, I'll be hitting 7.5 gigs after a bit of play.
Granted, I'm running 1440p, but dang.

Hey, OP, just making sure, is the game using your 4060, and not your integrated 780M?
It sounds like you've checked it, but that would definitely do it.

PS Edit:
Turns out my textures are even set to low...
Life is suffering.

check your system completly fps seems really off and low for such a rig.

What are you doing when you get these fps? Because if you're flying or fighting around big stations then yeah that sounds about right. Are you 4k or 2 k? 2 I hope. I can't run this at 4k late game with a 4070 ti and a 13th gen i7 with the best ram and motherboard money can buy.

i play only full HD, and with AMD FSR 1.0 ultra quality (everybody can use it) + best TAA
the game looks like 2k or maybe 4 k...

Fixed the problem. 70~80 fps now, but only 19 or so fps during battles, seems about right

??? what and how ??????

Update: 100-110 fps in clear space, and 90 or so near stations without battles.
Here is the list of things I did:
Borderless window
Adaptive Vsync
TAA
Filtered nearly everything on map
Deleted Logbook
Played with the graphic settings(though i doubt it made any difference)

I'm still not sure if it will do any better during larger battles but it sure is a improvement. I still have to try a battle to test it out.
Keep an eye on your CPU and GPU temperatures; with an uncapped framerate, they can get really hot.
