ASUS ROG X performance vs Steam Deck OLEG Question
Hello, first off I very much enjoy the Steam Deck that I recently purchased and this game is one I would like to play at a good performance ( I have it set at alright settings after reading posts on steam Deck) and I was looking at having the ASUS ROG Z1 Extreme or the ASUS ROG X for this game and a few others.

Question 1: Would I see a performance increase with the ASUS ROG or ROG X with this game?

Question 2: If the ROG is not suggested then would the CLAW or STEAM OS Leonavo be suggested?

I appreciate your answers as again I very much like the STEAM DECK for my general games like Factorio etc. and I noticed the ASUS ROG Z1 on sale.

I do not do mods for games and I know about the SD card issue with the ROG and I do not plan on using the SD cards on it.

i upgraded to a system thats at least 100% in overall performance. benefits are rather small while other games do benefit. x4 doesnt cuz cpu bound as always. even a 7800x3d kind of cpu is way to slow to ever run this really smooth. dont bother if you get anything above 10-20 fps in war times your system runs great.

So just to clarify your answer to me you don't recommend ether one if counting on improvements for X4?
There is a really annoying bug where the on screen pointer is just invisible on the deck unfortunately and its only fixed by playing in desktop mode which disables the Big picture mode including the onscreen keyboard shortcut.

Worked better streaming my desktop to my deck, on deck hardware is not so good but if your okay with steady low frame-rate, it works out.
