Green should be when it cheaper
Red is when it more expensive
This way, if you're always buying or selling "in the green", you're guaranteed profits.
Dude, you should pay attention to what you're reading. LOL
you always want to buy below average and sell above... not the other way around.
if their stock level for resources is low they are in high demand, thus they are willing to buy them above average price, this will be indicated in green (good deal) when you want to sell to them.
the same applies if their stock levels for their products are high and they are willing to sell for below average (good deal for you), also indicated in green.
now we do another example.
a sation has high resource levels and therefore has low demand, they are not willing to buy for above average price but below average.. this will be indicated in red as a bad deal.
same if they have low product levels and their price is above average when you want to buy them.
this again will be indicated in red as a bad deal for you.
the general rule of thumb:
you want to buy below average price and sell above average.
the green and red is always from your characters point of view, you see green it means its good for you, you see red and its propably not.
also... looking at your 29 ingame hours as of this post... i think its time to welcome you to the community.
you'll get a hang on how trading goes soon enough and keep asking questions if you need help.
plenty of people here that can and will show you the ropes.
