Bring Back Xenon?
Guess it was no good idea to eliminate all xenon from the map. Now there's mission i can not go on with as there's no more Xenon :-(
Is there any way to bring some of them back? Like "resetting" a sector?

You butcher! Didn't you know that the Xenon are an endangered species? XLM! XLM! XLM!
No.

Or, well, actually, in the late game you can start the "crisis" which will spawn Xenon ships here and there.

All killed ;-) was not enough ...
I have eliminated Xenon from everywhere but five sectors clustered together with me and the Teladi keeping them at bay. I can farm materials at will and the Teladi buy my ships constantly. I have completed Xenon missions there too. I will never completely wipe them out. I love my beautiful Xenon sanctuary.
The crisis event is repeatable. But it has a cooldown, so you need to wait some time.
Killing off all the xenon is wild, they are like custodian bugs in a habitat. They eat at npc ships and stations keeping the universe from having too many assets on the board and your save file from getting bogged down to a crawl. Not only that but much like IRL war is amazing for the economy. Wares are needed to replace ships, and stations that kaboom all that need goes right into your pocket.

nope, just because a joke reference was made doesn't mean its time for a VERY HEATED political conversation in a steam discussion. Bring focus back to the game.
It's not a political point, but a scientific one: you categorically claimed that wars, in real life, are great for the economy; if that's true, then you shouldn't have any issue in showing how the two hottest conflicts in the world today are improving the lives of everyone involved.

Seems to be a lot of these "I killed all the Xenon, how do I bring them back?" threads popping up lately for some reason...

Without modding or using cheats, you can't. You wiped them off the map and killed all their ship production, solar plants and miners, so the Xenon are in no position in your save to come back under any circumstances.

Only way you're going to bring them back is by starting a fresh new save.

Ok, we are just talking about the economics of war not the war itself that's different, yeah. The sites of the wars get devastated, and the ones involved take many loses. Their economy gets destroyed, however those that are in proximity that do not share the same coffers benefit from the rebuilding.

If you haven't finished Terran Yaki plot, it should bring some of them back. If you're careful they "might" rebuild. Likewise, Crisis will spawn some of them as well, but it won't be sustainable.

Basically the only options are mods.

Please, discuss that point elsewhere. It is a divisive topic, and there are plenty of other places for people to scream at each other about it.

Some businesses profit from it, but that's it, everyone else is worse off, even in places not directly affected by the conflict. How are electricity prices in Europe, by the way? Are poor people having an easier time buying basic necessities?

Oh, fun. Politics in a video game forum claiming to be scientific.
Testing theory against reality is the essence of the scientific method. Specially important when people take their theories from computer games and draw perverse conclusions like the above.

That's the thing. You are looking at the growth of everyone. That some business that profited. That was me. Your entire point hinges on me caring about a single thing other than being the one that takes that money to rebuild and putting it in my pocket. In my example i am not Europe or anything. I am a solitary business that is not located anywhere near any of the bs happening, and i ship some cement and metal to the places rebuilding. 11 billion in damages means 11 billion in someones pocket down the road.

A business man does not care about the cost of business for anything other than their corporation. 0 empathy just numbers. Only my numbers. Let the world suffer while i make money off of it.

And that's exactly what "the economy" means, not one particular person or group, but everyone.

My economic standing does not care about the countries economic standing. That is why Bezos is rich and loving life while you are crying about how things are getting worse, and i enjoy owning a private business that is letting me coast through this recession wondering why you are struggling.

Make a product, sell the product, eat people.
Thread officially derailed.
