Mapping mouse X axis to yaw?
Okay, I think I'm a dumbass. I can't for the life of me figure out how to turn my mouse X axis (side to side) to make the ship yaw instead of roll.

I like all the rest of the current 'default' settings for KBnM, but the ship rolling on mouse X axis is giving me hives. I very much prefer manually rolling with QE, strafing with WASD and having my up down and yaw on the mouse.

Someone got any idea how to set that up?

First you need to check if you have "Adaptive Steering" (or whatever it is called in the english game version) activated in the games options.
Because if that is activated, it will mess with the controls. Because then the game will decide (based on the ships form factor or values) if the ship will yaw or roll when you use mouse X axis.

Oh THAT was it! Thank you very much.

I missed that there was an adaptive steering prompt under mouse controls too. I thought it was a controller specific toggle.

Thank you very much, everything's fine now.
