what do you guys do in your games?
im about 300 hours into my current game. i have built up the entire supply chain from mining to shipyard. I have secured my various trade routes and ive completed all the story plots as well as a few terraforming missions.
As money is not of much value in this game, i dont really feel the need to get above my 20 billion credits.
Also, due to the over-reaction of AI fleets to stray fire, i cant really take my fleets into any zone to help shore up the defense of anyone's space so that pushed me to basically wipe out the Xenon since i cant use my fleets in any zone that other AIs occupy.
I love this game, but i cant really think of anything else to do. what do you guys do when you reach late end game?

So far I've been trying to get myself invested enough to finish all the terraforming projects, but admittedly, they're kinda dull.

Finish up all the main story missions. and then? Well, I'll usually pick a faction (most often TER)
Goal 1: buy out all their blueprints, or at least the exclusive ones...
Goal 2: Remove all their sectors and ability to build their own ships...
Goal 3: replace their shipyards with ones owned by me. (Edit: They can build at these shipyards, but only when I say so ;) )

Finally, the ultimate challenge... Think up good names for each capital ship and fleet... For a bonus challenge, create a decal for each fleet.

Declare war on a faction and wipe them out with a carrier battle group supported by destroyers while you are in a corvette with a boner enjoying the fireworks.

I claim my own section of sector and build up small station everywhere

Make my sector feel alive with all the stuff flying around

build stations
babysit the factions
build more stations
more stations
even more of them, so that the TEL system looks like it belongs to SPL
some roombaing of xenon outer rim sectors
build more stations
stack ships I will never need
get bored

I like to build half megaplexes that feed each other, then sit on an observatory deck overlooking my creations as they build ships or vacuum up scrap. Then I do some terraforming and occasionally hop into my Erlking to go solo a few Xenon fleets to feel alive, then rest back at my station pavilion.
I do faction runs.
Defend Split homeland.
Conquer the universe for the paranids.
Now, I´m terran. I found some nice mods to boost the xenons. This will be interesting.

Wich mods do you use for that?

Only 100 hours in, I'm building nonsense for no good reason. Saving to be able to build Asgard's. From there, no clue lol!

i wish there was a non-mod way to opt into making the xenon an actual threat. i will never install mods again, last time it broke a 100 hour save and because it was modded, i got no support.

Easy fix here is to backup your save files before modding. If you learn from the mistake you don't need to 'never use them again'.

1) Start a new game
2) become the uuniverse god in a few days.
3) bored about lack of challenge, stop my game
4) switch to modding for a certain time
5) Leave for game for a year.
