For any key combo, check the settings, then look at the control/keyboard bindings.

(if not, try both)

Try CTRL-M
Hit your number key 5
Hit F1, F2, F3

Shift + H is for hud. Ctrl + H is for cockpit. Those are the DEFAULT settings, if you changed them, you should just go to the setting and see what they are re-mapped to. They may even have been blanked out.

Settings / Controls / General then scroll down to expert settings and there should be the options for the toggles.

Keep in mind, if you are in the Terran starter ship, Kukri, you sit right up close to the front window and there is no bottom part of the cockpit like a lot of other ships.

Numpad 2 to look down towards your feet and see a small section of lower cockpit.

shift H or CTRL H do not show the cockpit,
ctrl H is justenabling the top of the cockpit and not the bottom (wich is disapeared)

i have no mods and did not go in controls to change behaviors (its all default)

i also saw that usualy when pressing F2 i could see my ship external view, my ship is now invisible, F3 to see other ship works :/

it stay like this in reloads, savegame related ?

Funny i did CTRL H while in F2 view, and my ship become visible / invisible, while i come back in F1 view the bottom of the cockpit is missing, and CTRL H only eable / disable the top

OK, I'm suspecting that none of us have any idea what you're talking about. Maybe you could post screenshots of two different ships that shows the problem?
