Mining in Argon Prime
even though the info on argon prime says there is 102k silicone, im pretty sure it doesn't. i remember hearing somewhere that they decreased the amount in argon prime. my probes don't show much. i want my si wafer factor to stop sending miners there because they take forever. how do i make them stop mining in that sector. note that the factor is also in argon prime. i have deactivated all the resource probes i have in prime. thoughts ?

Argon prime is one of the worst sector to mine in now. (use to be one of the best and infinite supply of ore, Silicon was trash back before the nerf in that sector)
It a waste of time.

I would say go to the reach or other neighboring sector for better yields

To stop your miners from mining there create a blacklist for activity in argon prime and put them into your miner (not your station)
You want your station to still send traders to Argon Prime.

Your miners are taking forever to be sent to argon prime and your factory that is sending them is in argon prime? I am confused can you clarify a bit more please.

Jooster, they are taking forever to mine resources in argon prime. i will try the black list. i thought if i black listed AP that it would block their travel, but honestly i haven;t spent much time with the black list. i'll check out now

do blacklist activity (not travel)
only apply it to miners and DON'T!!! make any of the rule defaults.

since the black list doesn't distinguish trade from mining, will it prevent the miners from returning the ore to the station ? im setting up now.

I'm not sure only one way to find out.
Some stuff bypass blacklist so this might be one of it.

ha. well. it doesn't seem to be doing anything. i have an activity black list for argon prime. then within each miner i added that black list to the 'individual instructions' "sector activities" . then i 'x' their current order queue. and they sill reset to argon prime. so annoying

Might be the thing I was talking about
Because your station is in argon prime it bypasses the blacklist

i don't think the black list does anything. but i did find that i still had 1 resource probe i had missed. when i removed that then they stopped mining AP. in case anyone else ends up with this same problem.

Blacklist definitely work it how I direct my miners to get the best possible yield as well as avoid certain sector like the void because I use small/medium/large miners and don’t want them to die

it does work well for avoid sectors travel wise, but i must be doing something wrong with regards to station miners b/c it doesn't affect them at all

i have exactly the same problem, the blacklist is not working at all, yet there are neighboring sectors with lots of minerals, my station commander is 5 stars and normally he should send them to mine in the most efficient sectors. ..

only they do absolutely on purpose to go mine in argon prime and second contact 2 I start to believe that it's troll because I have tried everything, never had this problem before, they even go where there is no resource probe while neighboring areas have probes and lots of minerals ... is that a joke?

yes I do use them but they never gave me a problem before, besides I have two other stations which work very well.
it's just my prime argon station that sends miners on purpose to where there's nothing to mine.

Isn't there a way to put a bullet in the head of my station commander? i mean it's 5 star and should normally handle this sort of thing efficiently right?

Sound like your problem is the exact same as OP
You both put the station in Argon prime itself.
I think that by default is what causing it to bypass the blacklist as the station is in the blacklisted sector.
