7.50 beta - where did extensions options go?

I find the game annoying to play without Kuertee's reset mouse mod, but to set it up I need Extensions Options. Where did it go?

But it's not there in 7.50 b1.

Bear in mind I'm talking about Extensions Options, not Extensions.

It may simply be that none of the extensions I'm running are patching Extensions Options correctly now, though that would be surprising since most of them are Kuertee's. I did notice that his signal leak hunter mod is non-functional in the beta at the moment, but other mods are working.

Just going to throw this out there, not that I been using extensions but perhaps the current extensions are not up to date with the 7.5 beta testing. As being perhaps why they are not working or options not showing.

Yes, that's my assumption, though it is a bit surprising. Nothing in the patch notes suggests changes to that part of the game, and it would be odd for Egosoft to change the way mods patch into Extensions Options, unless something really major were about to be changed.

Extension options are available in-game, not in main menu. Its been like that since 7.0.

Also theres new option to enable/disable UI mods, to protect the user from harmfull software. If you dont disable it - you won't see extension options.

Could be as simple as the Author updating the version for 7.5 beta. But honestly if its a beta test, its probably best to test without using any extensions anyway to properly address any issues that might happen in the vanilla 7.5 beta. I'm thinking about trying the beta myself, I already heard many players are really happy with the new ship interactions. NOTE well just checked and I only have access to 7.10 Beta.

Did you disable new UI protection thing? It wont draw UI based mods if its enabled. SirNukes API mod, for example.

I did not! Is this in the settings or do I have to edit the XML (like you have to do to get the new upscalers)?

in main menu go to Extensions, its just above the list of mods. When you first launch the beta - it gives you warning about the new protection system and lets you decide if you want it on or off.

Btw I didnt have to mess with the config file to get DLSS working, it was there for me on first start. Wonder if some peoples cfg file got corrupted?

I run two saves, one with mods and one without, so if I encounter a beta bug in the modded game I'll try to reproduce it in the unmodded. There's just some QoL mods I really can't live without. Specifically the Reset Mouse mod that lets me move the mouse cursor off-screen when my joystick is in use.

I didn't get that warning and I don't see it above Extensions. Hm. Something is definitely not right on my end!

Ok that's definitely what's going on. uidata.xml is reporting a bunch of mods not on because of Protected UI Mode. Now I just need to figure out how to get that setting option, or turn it off in the xml.

In the config file its called uisafemode, its in the bottom just above dlss.
If its not there for you, try backing up cfg file, and deleting it, so the game creates new one on game launch

What an odd problem! I removed config.xml and regenerated it, but uisafemode and dlss are still not there.
