Mission: The High Road bug?

This is from Boron DLC. I'm stuck on the step where I need to "Drive away the remaining Kha'ak".

Anyone else run into problems with this mission?

I chose to join the female boron's team so I was piloting the thresher gunboat. I didn't want to be stuck with a vanilla ship so as soon as they transferred it to me I took it to the wharf in Heaven's End and purchased a few upgrades and applied some mods (including a paintjob)... I didn't realize it was the kind of mission where I'd have to give the ship back.

Not that I have gotten to that point however, after the battle near the highway construction site was over, the mission step to "Drive away the remaining Kha'ak" never completed... it was when I googled the mission to troubleshoot that I found others had gotten stuck at a later step because they modified the ship (or launched some of the laser towers it came with) and it was preventing them from turning the ship back in.

I went to the sector with delilah's swansong and took out every kha'ak I could find including both of the Kha'ak bases in the sector and that step of the mission still won't complete. I took the thresher back to the wharf and tried to reverse all the modifications I made to see if that would fix the mission but no luck (I also reverted the changes by memory, so I'm not entirely certain I got it exactly right. I had upgrade to a MK3 engine, so I reverted that. And I couldn't remember if the thrusters were MK2 or MK3 all-around so I put them at MK2 and I dissassembled all the mods and returned the paint job back to default).

Sorry the mission isn't progressing for you. Could you perhaps send us the save so we can take a look? You can either follow the instructions in the official Technical Support forum on the Egosoft website, which will make it easier to file the report and get back to you later, or you can take the shortcut and mail it to [e-mail].

I appreciate the reply. I checked out the technical support requests thread on the egosoft forum and it looks like a vanilla save is going to be required to be of any use. I do have a handful of mods from the steam workshop installed, and indeed my save is marked as modified.

The good news is this problem isn't locking me out of any other features of the game, so I can still continue on with my save (and have been for several hours) without any problems other than being unable to complete this one mission.

If you think even my "modded" save file could be of use, let me know. Thanks!
