How to use Left Mouse Click to Target in Map?

Note: White box is Select, Yellow box is target.
I want to set Left Click to target in map. The tool tip says, hold to target.

You may have to keep the mouse cursor over the target's icon while pressing [T].

You don't have to close the map to use T.

Okay. I see. That's not what I want.

Go to Settings > Controls > General Controls
Search for Target Object in Map and set it to Left Mouse Button.
Mouse hover the white Info icon and read the tool tip.

IIRC there are some limitations to what the game will let you do with left click. I think that is why back at launch I ended up putting the two fire types on my mouse's side buttons.

Mine actually will not even set target in map to left click. Does not even appear to accept that I am pressing it.

Just as easy to bind it to the scroll wheel press button.

It's just to be able to use with the simulate mouse button for controllers so I can use other buttons for other things.

You probably have some conflicts. If you load the Default, I'm pretty sure you'll be able to.

Should be a toggle function somewhere in settings to toggle single click on/off.

Yes, but the toggle is for the out of map. The in map has none.
