The second pic of the production chain shows that you're critically low on wafers and tubes so the script prioritized getting things needed to keep the factory going over selling something that's a production dead end that's over it's desired stock level.
Either lower the minimum stock levels of Wafers/Tubes or set up a blacklist where you won't buy them from yourself. Also you might have sold too many hull parts and drove the price down below your accepted sell offer on the stations you've got satellites around/trade sub to too.
Whenever a station ware is low on inventory the station manager will trigger the priority ware mechanic, which only allows the priority ware items to be traded, even if other wares are valid and available to be traded.
The new changes to the ware basket attempts to address this issue since you can "assign certain traders to certain wares". But this is not a truly powerful alternative since this logistical design bottlenecks your station managers total trade capacity. It is only a fix if you can remember how you set up your "tinker" (extremely efficient) empire 10, 100 or 1000 hours later when that one trader who was perfectly set up just died. . .
The priority ware mechanic is very useful if the ware is available and would be even more useful if the player could turn it on and off at will without having to redesign or make a huge effort to address the issue.
Please add to the discussion on Egosoft X4: Foundation Forum so that more attention can be had on the subject. The title of the post is: Make players the boss of station manager please!
Well, yeah, i see, that is hilarious. And to setup station to trade only through assigned ships is still pain in the ass.
To me it does look like a borderline bug, it does not prioritize ware (bizarrely enough in my case i was lacking wafers exactly because those dimwits refused to trade and i couldn't get cash to finish modules), it excludes them for whatever reason. And as far as i understand the only solution is to uncheck automatic on every single ship. because we still cant remove buy orders on items station produce itself
Thanks, more pointless micro clicking to make up for a system to reduce autoclicking
