That's a decent way to make money while also helping the economy, though. A simple powerplant in mercury is a fairly cheap investment that will help the terran economy a lot by providing much needed energy and it earns you money with practically no effort. Win-win.
Thanks for the tips, what is needed for a good energy cell producing station? I am in the Sagaris sector and there is over 200% here, havn't seen any energy cell stations.
Depending on the start you picked, you may already have the required blueprints for a powerplant.
You need a dock (for example the terran 10s4m dock), a container storage and 1 or more solar panels. That's all, really.
You can also add a pier (for large freighters), but that will be somewhat expensive (maybe add it later)
Basically, their sectors are decent if you want to build a terran tech superfactory. You may still need to import ecells to build the thing, but if in a pinch you can haul them from elsewhere in a galaxy, including commonwealth space (argon/teradi/paranid).
Minimum station is 1 solar panel, 1 small container storage and 1 M dock.
Super helpful thank you!
Really useful thank you. I have waited 4 hours for my station in oort to be built waiting for energy cells so I think I need to take matters into my own hands as I want to expand more into Segaris & Sol and seems Energy Cells are a bottleneck
You want to build one? Its simple. You just need a dock, a container storage and of course solar panels. Thats it. Its super simple.
