Do I need to beat all Timelines mission to unlock the rewards?
So I beat graph 6 then looked for the Odachi in top of Getsu Fune but it wasnt there. I didn't finish the quest to escape though because I got stuck in the dark and I assume that's the last mission. Also I attempted every single mission but got 0 stars for 2 missions that doesn't unlock anything. Not sure if that makes any difference

No. You should unlock the rewards progressively as you complete the relevant missions when going through Timelines.

Some missions gives rewards (and it explicitly says so in the mission briefing) and some don't. If you haven't got the required 1 star in the mission that gives the Odachi, then it's not going to appear in the sandbox.

It's far north from the system boarder, so you need to fly a bit further, and for me it was more "up" from regular "horizon"
Try to use long range scan too

Thanks man I found it. No one mentioned this part after looking at like 10 guides and asking other people

yes, you should do all of them and achieve at least one star and complete the additional storyline steps along the way, after this you can head into the open universe and complete the last part of the storyline which offers two more rewards.

You don't actually have to "beat" all of them. You just need to average 2 stars in one graph to unlock the final mission in a graph.

If you get enough stars in a graph, you can just speedrun dying in the remaining ones, unless of course there are open universe rewards attached to it - then you need to score at least 1 star.

Which missions specifically give you the free H and Experimental Shuttle and unlock the new race and sectors?

Please tell me I don’t have to do all of it cause I love the sandbox but loath missions !

The xperimental shuttle is in the epilogue in the open universe after completing timelines story. Should you have a PHQ and Boso Ta on board, he will contact you about a distant signal and tracking it to its source, just follow it to the new faction and their sectors.
