The Odachi and it's turrets

I just found a ship called Odachi and first of all: Even with the issue it's currently the best ship I got.. by far.

The issue being that the ship came with two turrets. It shows them as operational, they are active and supposed to fire at anything that moves in a 4km radius. Howevert.. they do not fire.

Do you guys have an idea what's going on there? Once I noticed I reloaded an older save game to pick it up again. Same issue though.

I assume it might be a bug. The landing gear glitches out when I dock the ship. The pilot seat has some animation issues and you can open a microwave and a locker on board of this ship.. the animation from all these doors seem to be a bit off as well.

So yeah, I'm sure it's a bug but maybe someone here knows how to make the turrets work anyway? I'm new to the game and I'd like to use it as my "main" ship when doing solo-things.

Bug is known.
Now go to the Equipment Menu and take a good look at the turrets and you see pretty quick what the problem is and its funny af.

Do you want to hear something that is really "funny af"? I just docked the ship and thought to myself "Maybe if I put it into storage and get it out of storage again it loads properly".

Well.. now the console for it's elevator is down, but the elevator isn't there. Pressing the buttons on the elevator console does nothing.

I guess I'm stranded now, with no money and no backup ships. But at least I was able to hire a new marine, she's looking as confused as I do at the missing elevator.. :D

The Odachi turrets are the wrong way around, it was fixed in 7.10 beta 1, same as well with the glitching front legs of the ship once landed.

The large turret on the belly of the Ray often refuses to fire as well(I've seen it shoot at a Kha'ak station, but that's it, it was the only thing I've ever seen it shoot at since timelines released), seems to be a good number of bugs floating around in the current version.

They could have made a hot fix for the Odachi, honestly been waiting forever to get the update :/

It really sucks, cuz based on the news history, their betas last for like a month and a half. Still, guess I’m willing to wait since it also makes the Sapporo much better to use (gives it a great role as a patrol leader and makes it a better scout/command ship).

Wish they made the Xenon Hs easier to capture though.
