I've noticed that if you capture a ship that has it installed, like a BUC ship, then it seems to be correct.
It's only broken if you actually try to fit it to your own ships.
No its broken for them too. The bug appeared about 7.1 beta 5, and at that time the Radar Visibility value wouldn't even display in the loadout tab. Come beta 6 and it did display but had the nan% value (and no actual effect).
My save has a massive Tempest (BUC evolved) empire and there are plunderer fleets with the functional Shroud (made before beta 5) those with just the Radar Range visible in the loadout page (beta 5) and those with the nan% Radar Visibility (beta 6 or later).
The Shroud mod installation routine used by NPCs and the Player is broken.
Thanks for the info, really helpful, but I'm guessing it'll be a long time before we get any kind of patch to resolve this since 7.10 is now released and the only other one I know of that was mentioned by Egosoft is 7.50.
