Dal Busta at the Scale Plate Pact Spaceweed Farm

I recently started the game and just finished the mission where Dal Busta wants you to obtain lodestone. Now I am supposed to meet up with him. The only problem is that he is apparently at the Scale Plate Pact spaceweed farm that I messed with in a previous mission. I can't dock there on account of the three hostile ships that melt me every time I even go near.

Is he supposed to be there or did I soft lock my game somehow? If he is supposed to be there, how do I deal with the hostiles in the starter fighter ship?

Upgrade your ship or lead them away to a nearby friendly fleet. Those fighters should be following you so it shouldn't be difficult. Even getting them in range of a friendly station with turrets can be enough.

But should Dal Busta even be there in the first place? It doesn't seem likely.

Plus, I worry they won't let me dock even if I do lure the pirates away. I am not on good terms with them.

You are on good enough terms with them. Scaleplate are pirates, they do not care if you shoot other pirates down or help other pirates, thats why your standing with the faction is locked at -5. Which is enough to not be shot at and have a landing permit.

You only have a bad standing with those 3 ships not the station.
